Four Bedrooms (includes two master suites)

Each bedroom at the Arrabelle Retreat has its own personality and setup, so every guest, like Goldilocks, can find a room that’s just right.

But unlike Goldilocks, you won’t find an uncomfortable bed in the place. All beds are, as our guests often remark, among the most comfortable in the world. We credit our top-of-the-line Serta double pillow-top mattresses, Egyptian cotton sheets, and sumptuous pillows and duvets, which are made from an exquisite down & feather blend.

The Provincial Master Suite: The Provincial Master radiates sophisticated comfort, thanks to a Parisian color palate of ivories, browns, and pale blues, plus a warm Venetian bronze plaster finish on the walls. This room boasts views of the ski run and fine furnishings like a Pierre Deux armoire, which houses a large flat screen TV, and an antique daybed outfitted with French linens. And, of course, a signature king-sized, four-poster bed—with all its lavish trimmings—will usher you into an amazing night’s sleep.

There’s also an attached five-piece marble bathroom with a Jacuzzi soaker tub, a steam shower, and a TV.

The Chambray Master Suite: This extra-large suite captures the woodsy feeling of the Colorado mountains, with accents of cornflower blue and deep red, and a rustic, four-poster, king-sized bed prepared, of course, with the signature comforts of a Cuvée bed. A sitting area in the turret provides views of the mountain, plus a pair of cozy chairs facing a fireplace. The en-suite, five-piece marble bathroom offers a beautiful Jacuzzi soaking tub to soothe overworked muscles after a day on the mountain.

A bonus in this suite—perfect for a family traveling with a small child—is a full-size, pull-down Murphy bed located in a private area, along with a small refrigerator/morning kitchen.

The Double Take Suite: This guest suite offers flexibility in the form of two signature, twin Cuvée beds that can also be converted into a king-sized Cuvée bed. The duvets and window treatments in this suite are custom-made and hand-selected by Cuvée’s designer. For the utmost in flexibility, this bedroom also offers a twin trundle bed in addition to the two twins, plus an en suite bathroom.

Media Room and/or King Suite: Another flexible set-up for a variety of guest situations, the media room has its own en suite bath, plus a king-sized Murphy-style bed, which pulls down from the wall and gets the same “Cuvée treatment” as every bed in the house. When the extra bed isn’t in use, the room can be enjoyed as a laidback media room, thanks to its large, plush sectional with a chaise lounge, and the large flat screen television. For those who bring a little work with them to Vail, this room also has a desk area with a laptop and printer.

Fully Equipped Chef-Style Kitchen: The chef-designed kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances and an impressive selection of small appliances—from practical to gourmet—including a Nespresso machine. The Cuvée design team applied a striking antique grey finish to the kitchen cabinets and stocked them with everything our guests could need to prepare and enjoy a gourmet meal (or have someone else do it for them).

For the grilling connoisseur, the balcony off the kitchen offers a gas grill and an outdoor dining table overlooking Vail Square. Enjoy a juicy steak and lift your wine glass to a pitch-perfect vacation in the heart of Vail.

Living Area: The spacious great room with two terraces is a vision in rich woodwork and flawless architecture. The focal points are its dining area with a built-in custom wine cave, constructed on-site by master craftsmen, as well as the octagon sitting area with a beautiful stone fireplace, accented with original art and exquisite furniture like Axis deer hide chairs, E. J. Victor sofas, and a hand-painted curio holding vintage glassware. The dining table was handcrafted in Italy from solid walnut and the table base features hand-forged iron stretchers. Everywhere you look at the Arrabelle Retreat, you will find another detail to enchant you.
